Meet the experienced teacher behind Manabinoie SARA in Miyazaki, with teaching qualifications across elementary, secondary, arts and special education and experience in Japan and Australia.
A place where every learner can be themselves
Manabinoie SARA began with a simple belief: children learn best when someone takes the time to understand who they are. Every child has different strengths, interests, questions and challenges. Rather than expecting everyone to fit one pattern, we adapt our approach to the learner.
Our founder has spent many years teaching in public, private and international education in Japan and overseas. Across different classrooms and age groups, the same conviction has grown stronger: meaningful progress starts with connection, trust and the small joy of understanding something new.
Meet the teacher
At SARA, teaching is personal. Lessons consider each learner’s interests, confidence, pace and educational goals. Hands-on creative work, traditional craftsmanship and practical digital skills are part of a broad view of education.
Some children who were struggling to attend their regular schools have rediscovered their enthusiasm for learning at SARA. Some now enjoy attending both SARA and their regular schools. These are individual experiences, not a promise of a particular result; the first priority is always what works for the child.
